Justin Jimmo replied to the topic Re:Chrysler Sebring Slipping in 1st and Reverse in the forums.
This is a very common problem affecting sebrings, caravans, neons and some others that year. Transmissions with a certain build date had this problem...sometimes it would trigger an engine light but not all the time. The Chrysler bulletin recommends replacing the low/reverse accumulator cover and o-ring in the transmission to fix the problem, not the easiest task.

There all basically the same links. Impact gun on the nut and a good pair of vice grips on the other side to remove them.

These are a pain to do! can't beleive they make you take apart the entire door for the handles, good write up though.

Justin Jimmo replied to the topic Re: How to remove a water pump from a 3.8L Chrysler in the forums.
Great write-up! I just did one on a 3.3, pretty well the same. The pump is a bit awkward to shimmy out but a bit of patience gets the job done. The bolts on the pumps are 10mm and the pulley was 15mm or 13mm....can't remember, three of em. The torque recommendations were about 100 inch pounds for the pump and around 200 for the pully. I use a razor blade to carefully clean off the housing, then some cleaner before installing a new one.

Justin Jimmo replied to the topic Re: Caravan V6 Power Steering Pumps in the forums.
Ya, I like the current gen caravan's too. The previous ones had a few bugs that seemed to be fixed. The power steering pumps were known to leak in the older ones. A gasket may be all they need but generally when somethings leaking they tend to recommend an entire part change too...
