Removing a Dodge Calibur Door Handle / Pad

Start by removing the screw found in the pull cup.

Remove the window handle with either a specific tool or
you can use a cloth/rag and wedge it behind while pulling
around until the horseshoe clip springs free. Be carefull not
to let it fly out of sight!

The pad should now snap away. You can use a trim tool, plastic
stick..etc to help pry it away. You should start at the bottom
and pull up and towards the front of the vehicle to get it free.
Now just remove any wiring harness's holding it in, you will also find
two plastic straps you need to unsnap at the bottom of the pad.

Now you need to remove all of the door trim covers. There is a screw and cover
at the interior handle. There is a cover at the inside of the mirror, the speaker
grille (two screws there).

Now you need to remove the glass. You may need to reconnect the switch / handle
and position the glass so that the two screws are accessible through
the access holes. Remove them and lift the glass out and carefully set
it aside.

Remove the various screws holding the door module in place, disconnect the wires
and take the module off. (the big main unit of the door).

Now you should be able to access the door handle. On the front doors you will
have your lock too so unscrew it all, unclip the connecting rods and put away the handle.

assembly is the opposite on removal.

These are a pain to do! can't beleive they make you take apart the entire door for the handles, good write up though.
